Don't bother picking up grey/trash items. Save your inventory space for more valuable stuff, and sell that for gold.

Attack. The game is meant to be offensive and mobile; health globes drop when you kill things, and potions have a cooldown, so don't turtle.

Have fun experimenting with skills and runes; find your own playstyle.
