Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Nice Duramax. 900F is a little hot for cruising though, isn't it?

Might have been in 6th gear and on it a bit too hard lol I dunno normally runs around 600-800 depending on the load. I don't really worry about it until I'm over 1200, which rarely happens under normal circumstances, usually just when I'm about to shift gears fully loaded going uphill.

I hate it when people put wide billet wheels with low pro tires on a muscle car.

Agreed. Most '60s muscle came with 15" rims. 16-17" is nice as well, but anything over 17 looks ridiculous to me.

I think the low pro's give it a modern allure while retaining a classic look, I bet it handles much better than a "true" musclecar on 15's with more rubber.

Then you might as well just go buy a new Mustang/Camaro/Challenger and put big rims on it.

    Doubt it.

    Doubt it.
No point in buying a "new" musclecar that everyone and their dog has. I asked him what was under the hood at a red light, he said 540. I'm not sure if that's a stroked out 502 or if he meant 540hp, either way I'll take that over a 392 Hemi any day.

Plus if he went to all that trouble and attention to detail I'd say it's a safe bet that it's got the proper suspension mods done to it as well. Not saying it'll handle like an A8, but if you would care to explain how, say a 68 Camaro on stock rims, tires and suspension would (theoretically) handle better, I'm all ears.
