    Default 03ozwhips TL mini build.

calling it a mini build just because its a family car, gets daily driven. probably gonna keep it simple. so far ive done a small debadge, added an ipod alpine deck, dvd headrests, 18" 8th gen Honda Accord wheels and function and form type 1 coilovers, rolled fenders(rear)and removal of the "aftermarket" spoiler that was on it before i got it.

future plans include painting some exterior pieces, different wheels for next summer for some MOAR LOW and hellaflush, going the VIP route on it. any suggestions or anything you want to say, post it up!

how it sat 2 weeks ago

then threw on the Accord wheels

    deck

    DVD headrests

how it sat as of yesterday, way too much rubbing up front had to raise it up. as it sits now, its about a 2.5" drop all around. once i get smaller tires ill go down to about a 4".

broke a sway bar end link when installing the coilovers yesterday

you guys think if i pull the fender liner out, itll stop rubbing? is it a good idea to take them out?

I imagine you could cut any rubbing areas if you like. I wouldn't take them out entirely - it keeps it clean... both visually and literally.

I wouldn't take them out if you're planning on driving it year round.

If its gonna be a summer car only, then maybe just cut where it rubs

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

lol i know it was at a huge ride height haha, these tires are tall as fuck, as soon as i can get rid of them, ill be putting on 225/40s. as for the tranny question, they can go at any time. mine went once already, got it fixed and parts were replaced by different parts than OEM because of the failing issues and i have a 2 year warranty.

not all tranny places replace the actual issue, they just replace with OEM and then it will go again at any time. thanks for the replies guys, more to come for sure.

edit: as far as the rubbing goes, its because of how big the tires are. it doesnt rub constantly. again, will be addressed when i get smaller tires.

Looks good so far. I like the progress.

I would recommend changing the tail lights to 02-03. It made a huge difference on my TL. Check out a1hondaautoparts sometimes you can get it for cheap. As for low you should do this:

    KWVII Coilovers||Carbon Fiber Grille||20% Tint||Iforged Daytona||19X8 19X10||RDSport Race Exhaust||Vorsteiner Front Lip||Vorsteiner Rear Diffuser II||GP Thunders 8500K||ACS Roof Spoiler||CF Mirror Covers||

Yea that was one of my favorite rides! Unfortunetly that's not mine. I think I posted some pics of my TL awhile ago. It's going to be hard, but you should try to get the oem body kit.

thanks bro, the F2s actually suprassed my expectations for a coilover at such a good price, the ride is awesome. if it werent for the tires, there would be no rubbing and a pretty smooth ride. now when i drop it more, it will change a but but i think itll still be pretty good.

mind you the stock shocks have NEVER been changed lol so the ride is hadly comparable to a set of good shocks, its just better than what it was haha
