    you're probably thinking more of the first gen ('64-'66). The seconds aren't bad (especially the notches like in the ad shakalaka posted).

    My brother has several first-gens and he's always trying to get me to get one-he had a lead on one with a 400+ hp stroker- but I can't stand them myself.
