Default How to seal a blowoff valve

A guy came into my work yesterday with a massive blow off valve in his hands. He was replacing the one on his Audi and wanted a good sealer to connect the housing to the hose. What would be the best sealant to use if any is needed to seal it up?

I have used JB Weld in the past...

Depending on how much boost is run through it you could use silicone...but it depends on the type of silicone, and the location of the BOV as well...Just make sure the silicone is type specific for its surroundings...i.e. heat and what have you...
