Default fs 1986 Toyota Sprinter Trueno

    General Vehicle Details

    Year : 1986

Make and Model and Body type/trim Level: Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex

    Transmission: Standard

    Exterior Color : Red/Black Panda

    Interior Color : Black/Grey

    Odometer Reading : 102000

Location of Vehicle : Edmonton, AB

General condition of vehicle: I've owned the car for 3 years now. It's been a daily driver with, regrettably, zero track time. Overall, it's in pretty decent shape and I've done my best to take of it. Regular fluid changes, maintenance, etc... There is some rust forming on the rear wheel arches and the paint is sun faded, but mechanically it's nearly perfect.

    Specific Details

Engine description: Original JDM 4AGE bluetop. All seals and gaskets were replaced last winter. It has a new alternator from this past summer and I also replaced the radiator, thermostat and added an HKS exhaust.

Transmission/Transaxle: Original 5-spd transmission. Haven't had a single problem with grinding or anything else. The original clutch had a leak when I first bought the car, so I replaced it with a Competition clutch and haven't had any problems since.

Differential description, type and/or mods: I bought the car with an lsd installed, which it still has. It doesn't grind, but it does howl at higher speeds. I replaced the ring and pinion with a T3 4.77, but as of yet have not replaced the lsd. It seems to lock perfectly fine, it's just slightly noisy.

Suspension/running gear condition and/or mods: Stock/Unknown. The front suspension is stock, with the exception of t3 outer tie rods and cut springs/unknown rate/probably stock. I have bnib Tokico blues that will go with the car, no springs yet. The rear shocks are adjustable, but again, unknown cut springs/probably stock.

Brakes condition/mods: I replaced the brakes about a month ago. All new calipers and rotors, brembo slotted up front, and pads. The brakes squeal at running temperature, I'm pretty sure oem pads will take care of it as the shop I took it to used some aftermarket product. About a month ago I upgraded to a R32 brake master cylinder and booster, works really well.

Exterior description: Mainly stock, I threw on a shine trd spoiler, shine jblood rear addons, and bosch fog lamps. Also the headlights are converted to H4. I have 8 wheels as well. 2 - 14" Hoshinos/2 - 14" watanabe or replica with Nokian RSi's that are currently on the vehicle and are in excellent shape. Also 4 - XXR 513's, 16x7 & 16x8 with Nitto Neo Gen tires. Fronts are good for 1 or 2 more summers, rears are toast. The 16's do rub slightly.

Interior description: The front interior is practically mint. I'm a non-smoker. The dash is torn on the driver's side right by the windshield. I recently replaced the 25 year old speakers and also added a touch screen double din cd/dvd/nav unit. The dash lights have also been upgraded to led's and I'll provide a few extra bulbs, although i've never had to replace them since i installed them. The rear was stripped when I bought the car and there is a 4 point rollcage installed. I'm currently in the process of removing old dried out sound deadening material. The entire rear compartment was painted red. I do have bits a pieces of interior trim I'll be selling with the car.

Extras : I have some odds and ends I'll throw in as well since I'm getting out of the 86 scene for now. Things like wheels bearings and such. I'll make a list of everything as soon as I'm able to.

    Asking Price : $6000

Nope, I've got a new car coming, so I need to sell rather than trade.
