Did you buy a Blackberry Playbook in the last 2 weeks?

I bought one almost 3 weeks ago and didn't realize it was a 14 day return policy.

I took it back to the store and they wouldn't accept it due to the 14 day return/exchange policy.

So, does anyone on beyond happen to have a receipt for a 16gb playbook they bought within the last 14 days?? I will drive to pick it up from you and return the receipt to you afterwards. Just want my money back as the playbook hasn't lived up to my expectations.

Not always true, when I tried to take it back all they checked was to make sure no scratches or password on the device. I'm willing to bet I can find a store that will take it if I have a receipt.

They won't let you keep the receipt once it's been returned.

If you bought anything else on the receipt they will let you keep it. Sometimes they write "returned" on it, but that's it. If you are keeping the playbook a receipt isn't really necessary...

Warranty is true, guess that's why people wouldn't want to give me their receipts. Thanks for the replies.

What place didn't accept your return? If it's only a bit more than 14 days, I wouldn't give a shit and I'd return it for you.

But then again, that's giving good customer service. I dunno if I can help or not based on where you bought it.

Nothing BAD particularly about them, aside from no native e-mail.

BTW prices are about half what they were at release right now.

Any particular reason? Are they going to drop the playbook in the near future? I missed the firesale on the HP touchpad so I'd love to pick up a playbook for cheap if it drops. Can't justify paying 600 dollars for a device I'd rarely use but if it's sub 200 dollars, it's hard to turn down.

I'm so sad.. I can't tune a guitar with it or level a microphone. The lack of apps is sorta lame, but I really needed the MSWord/excel/etc for school stuff. It says my service provider won't allow me to tether it, that's kind of weird.

They are almost there, $249 right now if you know someone at rogers. $299 from telus.
