Anyone know any tricks to get Xbox gift cards for cheaper? Does costco still sell them for 10-20% off face value? Ordered a Series X and need to load up on a few games and gold membership

Costco should have $100 GC for $90.
Also load up up xbox live from there as well at $60/y. Get 3 years worth and convert it to gamepass ultimate.

Man this thread reminds me that I haven't turned on my PS5 in a year and PS4 in over 2 years. Still waiting for new GTA for PS5 to come out.
Any other good, 'must have', PS5 games around these days that I should be looking at?
Dude, you don't have time for games. Send that PS5 to hawaii with your wife.

I played so many video games when my kid was born.
I’d take her and she would sleep in my arms for hours while I played.
Pretty sure she is going to grow up to be a Viking.

Maybe that'll be the trick with this guy. We don't let him look at TV though so that won't help. He does simmer down when staring at the TV even when from a distance so hard to keep stopping him from looking at one thing that calms him down. Haha.
It’s like you want to make it harder on yourself.
We also watched a lot of Narcos together, so drug lord is my second guess after Viking.
But the no tv thing. Yea you are going to cave hard and soon they won’t be 6 inches away from an iPad at all times.

Despite the shit reviews because of performance, rolled the dice on the new Star Wars Jedi. I really enjoyed the Fallen Order and this one looks fantastic

Good game. Some of the bosses are really hard, others really aren’t.

I bought the 2nd game too, it went on sale before once and that's when I grabbed it, as I didn't mind Fallen Order either. Simple game mechanics, but I liked the story, so good times. I hope round 2 is the same. I still haven't found a SW game that's grabbed me like Jedi Knight 2/Outcast has. I still replay that once every year or two if I'm bored and stuck someplace, as it's a small install and works great on my gaming laptop. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Very close to Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (which I adored growing up). It's still really fun and was ahead of its timeThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

This bet paid off. This is a fantastic game with stunning visuals, decent story and overall longer than I expected. Xbox controller required to really get the most out of it (as before). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The beginning load screen is choppy as shit but once it gets to the main menu and gameplay, it's totally fluid. It needs to optimize shaders for a few minutes each time I launch the game, not sure why.

Trying out the Xbox Cloud Gaming on my Samsung.. i gotta say, i'm pretty impressed how well it runs without a console (currently playing Star Wars Fallen Order). It's $1 for the first 14 days, and I can use my PS4 controller (only issue is that it keeps giving me Xbox commands to use.. so have to figure it out a bit from scratch). We'll see if i keep using it once it goes to $19/month
