New king? If the IPD is adjustable to 73mm, it just might work for my ginormous head.

Have you tried RE4 on the quest 2? (thats what I have) curious how RE village is on the PSVR as compared to RE4 on the quest 2This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I've had my PSVR2 since launch and I've been extremely impressed with it, it's pretty amazing how much visual fidelity can be achieved with a console using some clever technologies.
The pure black abyss that the OLED screen can generate make a massive difference compared to other VR headsets I've tried, the HDR is pretty amazing as well.
The weakness with the PSVR2 right now is the limited library.
But personally I don't have a ton of free time so I've been perfectly happy getting some time with GT7 and Star Wars.
Was super impressed by the RE Village demo but horror games are not my jam, especially in VR this shit is borderline traumatizing
PCVR adaptation is looking pretty promising as well, seems like the PCVR community is making much faster progress cracking this thing for PC use compared the original PSVR.

Curious how PSVR2 compares to Quest 2 and whether its a huge step up worth stepping up to. Seems like game selection is very limited and perhaps worth waiting a bit for catalogue to build up. Also curious how Quest Pro measures up. They recently slashed pricing on it by $600 although it seems aimed at more work collaboration rather than gaming. Finally listened to the Zuck interview on Joe Rogan and the amount of resources tossed into VR is insane.
Most outlet praise it. The tech is sound on how to run better VR with lesser hardware like PS5 compared to a PC with a 4090.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Probably wait a few more titles before I dive in to try it out.

I play Beat Saber (rhythm/dance) and Onward (mil-sim) on my Quest. Those are solid games, and under $30 I think.
Any Quest users in here? Surprised there isn't a thread for VR in general.

The only other headset I have is the Lenovo one and only because it was only $199 when I bought it. Haven’t tried the Quest 2.
Haven't even booted Pavlov up yet:

Quest 3 and Apple's VR headset coming later in 2023. Competition really heating up. Will probably hold off on buying a headset til they're all released and hopefully a price war too lol. Really exciting stuff. Haven't gamed or bought a console in about 20 years til the Quest 2.
Too bad Xbox/Microsoft not getting into the mix. Flight simulator on Xbox VR would be incredible.
Apple VR is another productivity tool like Quest Pro but 2x more expensive. Early preview seems a bit negative. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Will find out in June as debut seems to be WWDC 2023.
MS got burn my Kinect and have already learnt that games that need dedicated physical space will always be niche.

Beat Saber is fun. I bought Superhot VR, that was also quite enjoyable.

Also, we’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5. We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.
I believe iVRy was doing some development on this front. This could be Sony trying to stop this development cold while deliver nothing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
End of the day, Sony makes nothing on hardware. It all about software and I don't think they'll hand that over to Steam willingly.
