Hi Folks,

I was going to sell these for $5 a piece in a thread last night, but it seemed I rubbed people the wrong way and that was not my intention.

I have 12 FREE reports to offer my fellow Beyonders. Please reply to this thread with the Year, Make, Model and options you want as well as an email address you want it sent to. I will get them done as soon as I can.

Once 12 people have replied, please don't reply any further as I only have 12. No PM's only replies. If there is a better location for this thread, mods please move it.

For all of you guys that used car cost. How helpful was it when negotiating with the dealerships and how did you guys approach them with it?

I had a decent sales guy at Mitubishi and I hate haggling, so I looked up the car cost, took it when I was ready to buy and he took the top copy to the sales manager, came back at their invoice cost plus a few % points with the payment broken down based on what we'd talked about early as far as bi-weekly financing.

The wife and I discussed it briefly and agreed we were OK with the price and went from there, but on the Ralliart, the dealer invoice was only about 2grand from their asking price. I'm sure there's factory incentives/rewards as additional profit, but I just wanted to know what kind of diffrence there was between MSRP and dealer invoice.

Other dealership's may vary their profit/haggle levels.

All depends on stock levels. I've had luck in the past where cars I wanted using CCC reports were all readily available so I would just talk to the Sales mngr and would get cost plus a few hundred bux easily.

My dealer appreciate me doing my homework and we met in the middle of whatwhat I wanted and what they could do. The minute I pulled it out, they knew I was a serious buyer and was not trying to play a dealer off another.

I think this a great tool, i have used it on almost every car i have bought in the last 5+ years.

I am very up front and honest about and i have the report and i am ready to buy and but will not pay list.

You will even find that most dealers know about and take you more seriously

To all the guys trying to pull reports for audi's, good luck the audi dealers in Calgary are all a$$es and will not deal...

Definitely wasn't expecting much using it in Calgary. I've heard exactly the same as you and Glenmore treated me like shit when I was there. I really don't mind going to Edmonton or Kelowna if I have to. We'll see, I don't expect miracles.

Hey Folks,

All reports requested have been sent and I have 3 more. The best way to send the report is via email because when I copy and paste it, it is basically a screen shot. I can PM them too, but it is just text and a bit mangled.

Please post up Year, Make, Model, Transmission and then I will choose every option available so you have invoice pricing on everything.

I will post up when I am out then colsankey can take over.
