Default Rock chips and scrapes, easily fixable?

Car has rock chips on hood, side mirror, and 2 small scrapes on passenger side. Are these things I can fix myself with paint/polishes from Canadian tire? I have never done body work before. Also if someone on Beyond wants to teach me, or help, I will pay in Cash or beer!

Let me know what you think, thanks.

side mirrors are extremely beaten up to the point where I would consider a repaint.

Hood can be fixed with overfilling the chips with a paint pen. Wet sanding down the fill till it is level with the rest of the paint and then polishing/blending it back in. It'll never look perfect again, but it would look far better.

The scrapes on the side, if they catch your nail then the above is possibly needed. If not, then a compound after clay barring could possibly buff out the marks.

    Thanks for your time,

    Jason

To answer your question, no, it's not easily fixable.

A 2007 civic isn't the type of car you attempt to learn body work on.

If you were to attempt to refinish that mirror you would need to remove it first of all.
Sand it smooth, apply a primer if needed, and have paint mixed by a professional paint supply shop to match the car, not canadian tire.
Then you would need to spray a base coat and clear coat to the mirror.

The only supplies you can get from canadian tire for this is sand paper and masking tape, and maybe a respirator.
