I am not even a huge comic nerd but I loved this movie. The Great White Ruffalo as the Hulk wins it for me. The fight scene where they pan to each superhero was crazy enough that I might go see the movie again. The theater was extremely stinky though, and packed like sardines.

Was it better than the Batman films for me? Yep, but that's my opinion.

I generally expect very little when watching super hero movies but this movie was amazing. Hulk definitely stole the show. Best character in the movie by far.

Watching Thor quietly going at it was awesome.

Went to the IMAX screen @ Empire 16. Pretty good system they got going there.

Not much they can do with it much like Black Widow and Hawkeye. But he fits the cool leader role nicely.

Not really. He is their moral compass. Nobody likes the "leader" character because they are typically a pompus ass... that's what I love about Cap, he isn't like Cyclops or most other leaders for groups - he respects all team members equally. He's also a tactical mastermind when it comes to assessing situations and commanding his team and knowing which attributes would best handle a situation.

Also, in an open, city situation - of course people who can fly will have the advantage vs people who don't. You throw Wolverine into this fight, he wouldn't have been any more useful, but he's far from a "useless" hero.

Put Captain America into a room with Iron Man, Thor, or almost anybody else and he will prove his worth. Iron Man isn't a fighter, he just has the tech to help him.

Also, he's the only Human to ever pick up Mjolnir (Thor's hammer). I think the Hulks has done it ONCE in a super rage (and I think that was in the cartoon ... realistically he shouldn't be able too because you need to be deemed worthy enough to wield it by Odin... doubt hulk would fit that description ).

He's far from being useless, just this movie didn't really offer him a chance to show off what he can do. Not saying it as a fan boy either, Thor's actually my favorite avenger

Really really enjoyed the movie! Action and fun. RDJ and Hulk were hilarious.

They definitely implied that he was the leader when Iron Man said "call it captain" asking Captain America to call the strategy in the final fight scene.

It seemed that the movie showcased his powers or lack thereof in a very inconsistent way. He basically took the hit on the shield from Thor in their fight like nothing happened. At the same time, when Iron Man was fixing the engine, he was having a hard time dealing with the soldiers attacking him. Same thing with the punching bag scene. If Thor was punching it hard, it would definitely fly off more than a couple feet.

So maybe they elude to it in the movie, I havn't seen it yet. Gotta say Captain America's suit in his stand alone movie is way more badass then the bright knob that he looks like in the avengers movie. Just me?

    His movie:

    Avengers:
    1968 Impala: Status: Stored
1977 Dodge Triple E RV: Sold
1989 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL: Sold
    2008 Mercedes Benz C230: Cruising
