Default Front wheel hub is bent

Found out my left front wheel hub is a bit bent. My mech said its going to be expensive to get a new hub and its not worth it - which i was a bit surprised to hear that. He said to cut the rotor instead, but then that would mean each time i get new rotors ill have to cut the one going on the left hub. He said if i dont cut the rotors the hub will get more bent, is that true?

Just want to get second opinions. Is this a safety risk long term to drive with a bent hub? He said its not as long as you cut the rotor on it but i dont know. Would you replace the hub or just cut the rotor each time you get new ones?
