Indochino coming to Calgary!
Anyone planning on going to the Indochino event?
I think I'll check it out.
definitely will check it out
Anyone actually go?
They come march 6-10
Has anyone ever gotten any suits made in HK/Shenzhen?
If so, what is the quality/price/fit like?
I've heard that you can get suits from $150-300 range.

Brooksbrothers is having a travelling MTM tour that stops in Calgary, with 25% off at the same time.
I'm a huge fan of Z Zegna, even though they are made in Mexico hahahaha. Very comfortable and durable suits.
Yea the fit and price is good (obviously), you can pick the material but the stitching is fairly poor IMOOriginally posted by me_dennis

My experience was the same. If you can find suits on sale locally (Say CK or DKNY) they will be a similar price and better quality. My HK suits and shirts didnt last as long as locally bought ones. Leaves me a little hesitant to buy from Indochino.. especially when their nicer suits are around the $500 level, and its easy to get another Boss suit from Palm Springs for that.Originally posted by max_boost

I ordered a bespoke Zegna 120super suit from Umbertos' last week. I have a fitting or two coming up, and will share how it fits. Should be able to take it home in another 5 weeks.

I agree. The top end suit is $600. I just picked up a Boss suit from Harry Rosen for that much over the weekend.Originally posted by R-Audi

Well I'm getting married in September, and I'll be going to HK/Shenzen in May so I was debating whether or not I should get tuxes made in Shenzen for myself and my groomsmen, or just rent them locally. If I can get one made for around ~$150, then I might as well do that, since rentals are about that much anyways. Is $150-200 a huge stretch, or is it doable?Originally posted by max_boost

I think I paid $3500 HKD and I got 5 dress shirts and a full suit. That works out to $450 CAD.
I also bought 5 dress shirts separately and the cost was $2000 HKD so that's $250 CAD.
Subtract the math you can get a suit for $200 CAD! haha
The suit did fit really good but I'm non corporate guy so I seldom dress up.
The tailors will bargain so you can try grinding them down. This was at Empire Tailors.
