Where to buy meth?

I just finnished installing meth injection on my car this weekend and am wondering where most people get their meth from?

I know CDN tire has it but it's a bit of a rip. I am running -45c washer fluid right now, but it isn't easy to find in the summer. I'd be looking for like a 5 gallon pail of the stuff.

Maybe call a shop that installs meth injection and see where they would suggest?

Mopac has some 50/50 mix. I have an extra bottle I can give for free if you want, no longer have a meth injected car.

I was thinking of baker petrolite or something but they don't really do off sales.

Mopac is ok, but I'd rather get it from a chemical supplier like Chemfax b/c it's going to be a lot cheaper.

A while ago I used to work for an Esso bulk agent and we sold drums of methanol. I don't remember if it was straight methanol or if it was cut with something, and a drum is more than you'd need, but maybe they'd have it in pails too. Maybe look around for a bulk fuel/lube place like an Esso or UFA.

I bought mine at VP by the airport on McKnight. They have those 5 gallon tins in stock. It's pure methanol, do it doesn't have any lubricants, which you might want to add if you're using pumps that aren't methanol rated.

Any napa can order it and it's stocked. Here's a top gear top tip, ask to put it under account 9759 and the price drops again to 43.05. Here an EVEN BIGGER tip ask to put it under account 9992 and the price drops even more to 38.88.

I've got a 5gal tin from VP which was around $50ish but I can't recall...it wasn't too bad. And the place on Mcknight is basically a small trailer and a bunch of Semi-Trailers on the north side...I didn't have a problem finding it but that's cause I phoned. I've also got a 55gal drum in another garage that I paid $200 for last year from Torco...not sure if you can get this deal in Calgary however. I don't use methanol that much anymore so this is going to last me forever.

And rage is dead on about the additive...Redline Alcohol Lubricant...a couple cap fulls for every 4-5L is what I add but our HPF cars only use 100% methanol...mixed 50/50 there shouldn't be too much of a worry but may as well throw a capfull in every once and a while just for extra insurance. I believe it's corrosive qualities are reduced when mixxed with H20.

That stuff is crap imo...blew my intake off twice. Car ran fine it just seemed more volatile.

I tried it last night and blew apart my intercooler piping. Scared the shit out of me... 24psi then *BOOM* and CEL.

Put it together this morning and did some runs using BMW -45 washer fluid (i had some in the garage) and it worked pretty good. I logged good intake temps and there was no detonation with the race gas tune.

I will go to chemfax on Tuesday and try their stuff.

I am running an AEM kit with 50/50 mix. Pump etc is all rated for 100% but I'm not running a 1000hp sports coupe just a 4 door sedan so not going to tune for 100%.

Any hardware store that sells paint will definitely sell methyl hydrate / denatured alcohol / methanol and sell it cheap. You won't use much of it so don't go and buy a 5 gallon jug.

I go through about 2.5L for every tank of gas. But I only fill it up 1x a month so that would probably work.
