Got offered another watch yesterday... they called me for a sea dweller. Guess they forgot to take me off that list.

Badass. Johnson space center?
I only rotate between 2 watches (DJ and this). Save the seiko for Fridays and weekend wear. Love it.
Big honking 1000M diver today. Even though it's 49mm in diameter, the lack of lugs makes it wear much smaller and more like a 44mm. Titanium case and ceramic shroud keep it nice and lightweight.
Is that an old fashioned calculator on your desk?
It's an HP12C. Is it considered "old fashioned" now as I think it's still in regular production. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I use my phone or excel. I haven’t used a purpose built calculator in many years. Probably not since I was an engineer.
Excel calcs so I have a paper trail for me.
I hate not remembering where a number came from.

That's also an old fashioned writing device in the background that us old timers call a "pen". I imagine all the cool kids use a stylus now on their touch screens. Yes, I also like antiquated horological timing devices instead of apple watches and fitbits. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The pen is mightier than the sword.

It's ballpoint caran d'ache 849. Not many watches these days, have the Seiko tuna, couple of grand seikos and a speedmaster pro but I mainly just wear the white dial GS during the week and the tuna on the weekends. The other 2 just sit in the sock drawer. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
