You've had this Portugieser for a long time hey? I think I remember you posting it here many years ago and in fact this is what got me into them. Haha.

Bought another piece today cause evidently I have no self control when it comes to something I like.

    Here's a 'wrist shot'.

The sapphire sandwich speedy is a keeper in collection so won't be going anywhere, wanted to add a Pam as well so there's that. Though jury is out on whether it will be a long time keeper or not. Ironically, time will tell. Haha.

It's close enough to Friday...change of strap and it finally woke up for me tbh. Was kinda underwhelmed initially and was't sure about it but think I like it now. Ordered a Panerai rubber strap on deployment clasp and it will make a great new casual/weekend watch. Wouldn't rock it with suits during the week.

Good strap choice - Panerai is high on my list for next pick up (actually tried to buy in Italy but it was more expensive to buy there than here oddly enough)

Rubber strap is the answer for a lot of watches.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of Panerai for my own reasons, bit that looks good with that strap.

Pam’s are definitely an acquired taste. I’ve never had one before but always admired them somewhat, but not at the price points they are typically at. Even this one I wouldn’t have gotten it at its MSRP of 16k, but almost at 40% off of that for a virtually new piece with warranty etc., I said fuck it and went for it.

Got this a couple of weeks ago. Always wanted this but when I finally went in to Jvair last Dec I was drinking the hype koolaid hard and asked for the Green GMT or the Green sub instead lol They were upfront and said it could take a long time but I wasnt in a rush. Long story short I went back to my first choice

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Nice color combo.. one of my favorites. Good choice not getting the green.

I like what you did with your car in the background. Looks familiar.

Added another piece to the collection. Wanted the IWC Portugieser but since having other IWC’s started looking for other somewhat similar options and this worked out perfectly. Wanted a white deal, power reserve and high horology. Checks all the boxes. Limited edition, number 59 of 183 produced.

    Ok fellas

I’ve found the watch I want. It’s a roger Dubuis sterrato and they want $70k USD. They are limited edition and they only have 2 left in the colour I want. Can I negotiate them down? Is that a thing?

I know I’m going to lose money on it but I just want it to complete a car + watch collection.

    Cheers fellas
