RBR is looking good on preserving the super softs. It was a warm day today and McLaren is fast but eating up their super softs. If it's hot on Sunday, it'll be a close battle between Ferrari and RBR, if it's cooler McLaren (specifically Hamilton) should take it. 1 lap pace the McLaren is pretty impressive, I'm calling for Hamilton on pole breaking the RBR streak!

Definately not the end of RBR, but it's looking good for the others for the next races. Next 2 are power tracks (Spa and Monza) where McLaren should be able to take it if they don't fuck up, Singapore would be another low speed traction course where Ferrari and McLaren will shine, Suzuka should be owned by Red Bull with their efficient aero.

That's the short term outlook based on the current pecking order.

Ecclestone requested double the money for Istanbul Park. About 26M I think. They didn't go for it so Istanbul Park is out of the calendar for 2012.

... and stuck with boring Bahrain. Along with Sky Sports taking over broadcasting from 2012-2018 (pay-per-view)... F1's future just took a big nose-dive today, IMO.

I'm okay with paying a small fee for no commercials. If it's ridiculous though I'll just start pirating them :/

    What do you mean?

Do you mean which race did they first appear in this season? It was several races back.
