Hoping to find a hook-up for a good price on a set of "ST205/75R14" trailer tires. Nothing fancy, just a plain-jane set. Tires only.

Give Gary at UrbanX a call. He had a set that I thought were off a Tractor Trailer. He said they were for an RV.
Not sure on the price but it means he should be able to get some type or RV tires.

They come on the rim at Princess Auto but in my case it was cheaper to buy two there than at a tire dealer...
Just a thought...
I do have 2 used at that size from when I upgraded.
They are bias ply though and on 5 bolt rims so you may not be interested.

any tireshop should be able to get them, there just a standard trailer tire, nothing special
Speed Doesn't kill, it's the sudden stop at the end.
Watch kijiji too. I got a set off a guy because he swapped his flat deck to winter rated tires, where most RV tires aren't... And really dont need to be in most ppl's case.
Trailer tires are a hassle. I had to buy some for my little camping trailer, and it was tough to even find the size.
A buddy of mine pointed me to Kal Tire in Airdrie, and those guys were really good. I got the "freind" price, which was a little more reasonable.
My advice, stay away from the bias ply tires, as they aren't rated for highway speeds. In fact, I heard a rumour that all trailer tires were rated to 65 MPG or slower. That's 105 km'h, which isn't handy around here, as you know. Some people run LT tires to get around this, but that may not be a great trade off.
Anyway, just double check it on whatever tires you buy. Are these tires for your camping trailer that is pictured in the K-country camping thread?

You didn't happen to lose a drivers side tire just outside Bragg Creek last weekend, did you?
