Track Day # 4

Garage Box Auto Innovations is hosting the 4th track day for the 2011 Season!


Date - Monday September 5th 2011
Time - 9am - 4pm
Place - Race City - 12517 68 St SE Calgary, Alberta
Cost:
-Under 27 Drivers = $200
-Over 27 Drivers = $170
-$30 Refunds Will Be Given On Event Date If We Hit 27+ Drivers

For Drivers
-Get there 30mins early
-Sign waivers
-Drivers meeting

Deposit of $200 (Full Amount) Can be dropped off at Garage Box Auto Innovations.

*Every Driver MUST Drop Off Deposits By Saturday September 3rd. If We Don’t Have 20 People by September 3rd, Track Day WILL be CANCELLED.
We Will NOT Be Taking Last Minute Drivers Who Show Up On Track Day And Pay*

Drivers with no track experience MUST have an instructor ride along until given approval by the instructor to drive alone.
Closed toe shoes.
MUST have SNELL approved Helmet. Race City does offer rental helmets.

Spectator Entry is FREE.
Ride a-longs are FREE, provided you must sign a waiver before stepping onto the track. You'll need to rent/borrow a helmet as well.
There will be food and drink available.

First time out and had a great time. Props to my instructors Kevin and Stan for giving me the run down of the track! Definitely learned a lot about my car that day.

Would love to come to one of these and it is nice to know there are other first timers out there. Will have to keep my eyes open to see if another one comes up. Looking forward to more video footage.

Thanks boi-alien. I did see that one a little while back, but was hesitant because it didn't seem like anybody had replied in the thread, so wasn't sure if it was a go. Also, I am not sure how these work. HK2NR mentioned having instructors help above. That sounds like something I would love to have as well.

Is this standard at these events before you get out on the track?

I believe that all events have instructors there, best ask the revwerks guys to confirm =)

WRONG.. i have 4 fully certified porsche club instructors at every event all of which have full competition licences and have been competing for more years than most of us have been alive... no one ever asks for instruction!!! thats the problem
