even if we only have 30 cars, people will bring people and if not enough BBQs who knows when someone may be able to start cooking their own stuff, we could be there forever lol

this could be a mirror of how it went at this place last time, how did the BQ workout for everyone that went last time?
Last cruise to Banff I went to was in 09. It worked out great. Lots of parking, good turn out and there was some stuff to do.

As for the BBQ. I'll check it out when I go this weekend. Worst case I'm sure we can get a one or two members to bring BBQs down there.

If people are worried about paying for a park pass we can always go to Canmore. There's a few spots that would work.

Where we went last time there was no parking fees. I think paying for parking will deter people. Gas money for some is enough as it is.

the thing with paying for parking in banff, is you are paying to hang out in banff.. go anywhere, take pics, be a tourist..

yes drum was cheap and hot but banff if whole different animal, our last run to banff we have like 50-60 cars if i rmbr correctly..

Last time when you guys went to Banff was there a problem with the cops? Also, how does that thing with the BBQ work? Everybody brings their own food?

^^ya thats why the last cruise was named "better not have tint" its possible it could happen but it could happen anywhere you go, right? as far as the BBQ thats what i was saying, you want to BBQ, bring your own stuff, if you dont want to eat with everyone at the BBQ, make your own plans after the cruise i guess.

I'll try to make it out for this one. Last time I was stuck in the field for longer than expected and couldn't get back in time.

the toll is what i meant... the toll allows you to stop in banff and surrounding areas in the park... therefore allowing people to stop at the park where the BBQ would take place..

Last week we had a number of drop outs because it was Drumheller. Most of my friends were in for the cruise until it got switched to Drum. I went anyways and had a good time.
