    Default Rules of Fashion...

okay...with the influence that media has on what we wear...what are some obvious fashion faux pas that you have witnessed around you?

For example, people in Lethbridge don't seem to understand when a pair of pants are too short for them!!! If we can see your socks when you're walking, they're TOO short!!!

personally as long as you're not over weight and trying to wear clothes that are too small for you then wear what you want as long as it fits.I can understand the pant thing, especially if its with straight leg pants.Other than that not much about clothes upsets me.

don't wear white socks with anything other than RUNNING SHOES. They do NOT look good with black dress shoes... or tan... or brown... RUNNING SHOES! I don't care if you are making the mistake of wearing your shiny black shoes with your jeans... don't put on white socks.. it only makes it worse!

anything with a big ass label across the front... unless they are paying you to advertise for them, i see no need to do it.

althought their are some brands that make their clothing tastefull with a logo, such companies as gap, roots ,and old navy go over board..

    1. Girls who wear their pants purposely too low so you can see their thong strings.
Since when was portraying a slut in style??

    2. Those jeans with the huge VON DUTCH patches on the ass.

    3. Guys who tuck in their sweaters.

    4. Socks with sandals.

    5. Guys with their pants hemmed too short and you can see their pilgrim shoes.

    6. Animal print ANYTHING.

    7. People need to realize that just because its high-end label name, it doesn't make it stylish!!

    8. However, you can pull off MOST styles if you have the attitude. Except animal print.

    9. Girls who have so overplucked their eyebrows that they are non-existent. Or uni-brows, those are worse!! Or who cake on the make-up like Mimi on Drew Carey.

I think Gap, Tommy H and the other stores are alrite! Its hard to be totally original b/c there isn't much selection in Calgary...or Canada for that matter.

But then again, what do I know?? I live in velour jumpsuits. hehe!

I agree, SOME styles are ugly! Most are timeless!! Men will never understand, just as they don't understand our need for +20 pairs of shoes.

Hahaha! Reminds me of this one girl I saw yesterday. Her eyebrows looked like sideway 7's (with the top part of the 7 pointing downwards)! And young chicks with tattooed eyebrows suck too!

haha that reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine gets that rash and she goes to the doctor with Leo and she paints eyebrows on his face and the doctor keeps thinking he's mad.
