That's unfortunate. I can only assume it's due to them being so busy (seems they have a receptionist now?). I recently discovered a broken wheel stud on my mother-in-law's truck and was hoping to have Minute Muffler take care of it, but since they were so busy they couldn't fit us in until the following week (called on a Thursday, MIL needed to drive home Saturday). They did however take the time to give me a referral to another nearby shop that was able to take care of it.

Minute Muffler is still my go-to shop as to date I've had an exhaust system replaced, clutch replaced, and an insurance inspection done (complete with replacement of an upper control arm to get the car to pass) and have been completely satisfied.

Another positive review here for Ravi, Pat, Gary etc at MM.

I had them install my Bilstein struts and replace my front pads/rotors this
week. Ran into an unexpected problem with the front strut mounts which
I was hoping to re-use..they were rusted badly. Ravi ordered them up but
now I was out a vehicle for the next day as one of them had to be couriered
from Edmonton. To my amazement, Ravi gave me the key for his Infiniti G35
to borrow until the work was done!!!! I can't say enough good things about
everyone at this shop. Best service I've ever gotten in Calgary period.

Without getting into great detail lets say Ravi sacrificed his time on a Saturday to get the green winter beast back on the road, and for a reasonable price. Thanx Ravi.....will be back

For some suspension and exhaust work
Came out as usual completely satisfied
Awesome shop would recommend to anyone (and I do)

Just wanted to add to this thread. I had previously brought my vehicle to Midas on 64th, and specifically told them I was not interested in them scanning the codes; I knew I had an exhaust restriction and I wanted them to find and fix it. Well, first thing they did is read the codes, and told me they could not proceed without fixing an o2 sensor first.

I called Ravi today, and he told me to bring my vehicle right down. I did, they didn't bother with the codes and tested the exhaust, immediately found the restriction, and inside an hour I was out the door with 100% more horsepower. He was easy to talk to, and gave me a very reasonable price.

If I need exhaust work going forward, there is zero question where I'm going.

Want to give huge props to Ravi and crew. I'm putting a new engine in my car this weekend, dropped the ball and at the last minute noticed a tab on my exhaust manifold broke and needed a small weld. Was running late and brought it in after close and they welded together for me free of charge, definitely going back to them for all my exhaust work really great crew there.

Ravi was his usual awesome helpful self this past Saturday.
He installed the drive shaft safety loop on my Z/28. Of course,
it didn't go so smoothy as I tried to install it on jack stands prior
to bringing it in! He ended up having to cut & weld a section for
clearance and his price was very reasonable.

    A bump to this thread...

Brought in my vehicle unexpectedly on Thursday to have my rattling head shield inspected. I caught him just as Ravi was about to leave for this vacation. He stayed for half an hour extra just to fix my heat shield. Now my exhaust is free of rattling!!

    Bump

Stopped in for a small exhaust job. They fit my car in and treated me very well. Good to see exceptional small businesses like this do well.

    Another bump for MM.

My 4Runner has that awesome roll-down rear window that less awesomely sucks in exhaust when you hit the gas pedal. Ravi and Gary (I think) did excellent work re-routing that exhaust to the side just behind the rear mudflap, and the exhaust smell is now completely gone with the window down. All for an excellent price and in less than an hour.

    Thanks beyonders for the recommendation!

Ravi and Gary are the only mechanics to work on my vehicles in the last 3 years. Great guys, always recommend them to everyone.

Never bothered to post this, but after reading this thread I decided I would take my beater to Ravi for some exhaust work.

I had 3" exhaust on my B5 S4, and I wanted to cut one of my cats out and replace it with a 3" pipe. They said no problem, had me in and out and I was on my way. The sounded a bit better without the cat, but it was behaving a little funny. Decided to get it on a lift and take a look and discovered that they did not do what I had asked and welded a dinky little 2" pipe in place of my 3" cat further restricting my vehicle...

When I came to them over this issue they said they would fix it free of cost once I get my 3" downpipes on the car.

While it was good of them to offer to fix the problem for free, they shouldn't of proceeded with the work in the first place.

Yeah, so they fucked up and they've owned up to it. Yeah it's unfortunate the mistake was made, but what shop or human being doesn't make mistakes?

Also a good time to go full 3" and not a silly catback system

Nothing but good things to say about this shop.
They get all of my business, and lately unfortunately has been a lot

Bump. Does anyone have photos of their exhaust work? I need my muffler extended by 2inches and some hangers welded back on. Its a really nice muffler and am looking for quality welds.

And yes I have contacted chris at unobtanium.
