Time to snag one up in the used market! I heard rotary engines are high-maintenance though...

should have taken the red rotary rocket out last track day... it's like an RX8 but better haha
Last few sessions in the afternoon a boost leak was causing slow spool. I turned the boost down to 8psi in the morning though, that's about it.Originally posted by Sorath

The car is fun to drive and puts a smile on your face, and the renesis sounds nice at WOT...sad to see it go
Killer interior also, and the facelift model exterior looked fine IMO
Seemed like a decent value in that niche but after all those yeard jusdt felt uncompetitive. Mazda seems to be getting lost in this mix with kia and hyundai doing so well and the domestics reemerging.
Autosignature
The last Rx8's in Japan are to be spirit R models..
Too loud for Aspen
I'm liking the RECARO seats in the manual trans spirit r

Both are nice, too bad they're impossible to find.

The engine noise will be missed by some
so will the handling
but expensive maintenance + front end clown-faced design ...
Talking about the Recaro seats.
... so was I. The recaros are in every 2009 and up Rx=8 R3. Not that rare or impossible to find at all.Originally posted by Onassis

While styling is an subjective thing, RX8's handling and braking characteristics are undeniable. Unfortunately most people do not explore the limits when cornering and braking, even at a track day. You see people at lapping days braking way too early and cornering way too slowly all the time. They just like going fast in a straight line.
I hope this is not the death of the rotary engine...
