I'm looking for a lawyer who is familiar with landlord and tenant matters. Looking for some quick advice before deciding whether or not to pursue this further. Can anyone recommend anyone?

More details required.
Are you the landlord, or are you the tenant?
If tenant, it's not likely worthwhile to hire a lawyer. Either do it yourself, complain to the Board, or get student lawyers at University. Unless there's a lot of dollars at stake, a real lawyer would likely be too expensive.
What is the nature of the dispute? Termination? Rent increase? Landlord not doing something they're supposed to do?
What are you seeking as a remedy? To avoid rent increase or eviction? to have the landlord fix something? To get out of the agreement?
Most of these situations have clear answers right in the legislation, so if you identify the problem, I - or someone else here - could likely point you to the relevant section of the Residential Tenancies Act, or regulation.
