Riding to the Gym

Do you ever ride to the gym?

If so, what do you do with your helmet? It'd be a real pain in the ass to carry it around in a gym. Do you guys ever have any luck leaving it with the front desk girls?

lol when i worked at a gym i would hold on to helmets anytime.

You might as well leave it out in the open somewhere, anyone can walk up to the desk and ask for your helmet as if it was theirs.

I used to leave it with the people at the front desk, but eventually just started leaving it on the shoe racks right when u enter. the gym has enough cameras where I dont have to worry about someone stealing it.

Had a locker at the gym, put it right on top. No big deal or problems. It depends on the gym you go though...

As much as I liked riding, I find my sportbike is freaking useless at going to school or even the gym. I'd rather just take the car.

I'd far rather ride and be slightly inconvenienced with having to carry a helmet around then drive. ANY DAY!

I've never had issues leaving it with the people at the desk. Depending on your gym don't they at least know you somewhat? They wouldn't give my helmet to someone else they know me by name before they scan my card.

That's what I thought, I just didn't want to ask them and make it a big inconvenience for them to hold onto it for a bit.

I go to talisman too, so if you go to a small gym and they don't know who you are at the front desk, you're not going enough! Haha

I've left mine at the front desk. Then I decided to do heavy squats at the gym. Needless to say, I don't take the bike to the gym anymore.

I was at a pretty small, neighbourhood gym and it was the same girl that worked the day shift for years so I had no problem leaving it with her behind the counter. At some of the bigger gyms I still don't think it would be a problem though.

i have had no trouble leaving my helmet at Golds NW and Golds NE and Eau Claire at the front desk.

You could just leave your helmet wherever, on top of lockers, by the shoe rack etc.... Unless your gym is in the NE, in that case I wouldn't leave it unsupervised.
