Can anyone recommend a battery tender, and where to buy one, for the winter? Thanks
I bought the CTEK battery tender at Canadian Tire:

I have 2 of them and they work well. They usually go on sale for around $50-60 if you wait.
you mean like this?

If you wait they go on sale for $20 all the time

Battery Tender is a brand, and that brand is a good one. But honestly, as long as you have one that automatically switches to a float voltage, and not just an old school trickle charger, you will do fine.
If you feel like it, you could also hook it up to a timer to only run 6 hours per day, which will save you a couple nickels of electricity.
I have these two:
Motomaster naultilus 15/10/2
Battery Tender Junior 0.75A 12V
I've used many of these CT chargers and the battery tender is much better. For about $90 you can get an actual battery tender with temperature compensation. I buy them from the local motorcycle shop in town (Airdrie)
that one i posted is $20 starting friday.
