Default Moving to Toronto (Mover Suggestions)

My friend is moving to Toronto at the end of Oct. Can anyone suggest some good movers. I looked at Uhaul and its pretty expensive. Can you also suggest other options to to move a 1 bedroom apt to Toronto.

When we moved to Calgary from Regina, we rented a 26ft Uhaul and I think the rental cost was about $650, one way. Also, keep in mind fuel will be expensive as well. I think it cost us around $600-$700. Again, this was a 26ft fully loaded.

If you dont have a ton of stuff, defintely hire a mover. When I moved out west the difference in price between UHaul and having someone do it was about 200 bucks. Plus, they pick up and unload your stuff. much easier.

I used Canada Moving - they were great. THis was about 3 years ago though...

A Breton Relocations. Just moved Calgary to Guelph, ON and Breton was way cheaper than U-Haul. We only had a 2bd condo.

I would call around, when my mother moved into an apt she sent me a condo's worth of furniture. AMJ Campbell had room for all her things and we got a deal on the cost because it was being a shared load.

I used AMJ Campbell when I moved from Calgary to Red Deer. Cost my company about ~$1100. More expensive but they came and loaded everything, stored it for me for a week, and dropped everything off. For the most part, the service was quite good.
