Default Ace Detailing - review? Unlimited Inside & Outside detailing for 1 year ($159)

    Saw this group buy deal.
    $159 (regular $830)

Seems like a decent deal, but can't find reviews on the company. Anyone have any experience with them?

for that price, I'd assume the quality is shitty.

Detailing is a highly skilled item. I don't drive anything exotic, but I'd still be very leery of letting a "new" detailer touch my car.

If I just want it cleaned in and out, I can do that myself in a couple hours with basic products. If I truly want it detailed, I'll pay a real professional to do it.

I hear what you're saying, but their regular prices seem legit: *snip*

I wouldn't rail on them just based on price, that's why I'm hoping to hear from a real customer or even someone who can check out their shop.

If anything, it's a good deal for a winter beater even if they do a half-assed job. My dog can stink up my SUV real nice after a good hike

Agreed.. wouldn't trust with an exotic

Never give any business that tries to pretend to be potential customer drumming up business. Shady business practices means shady workmanship (in my opinion).

or its just a scammer trying to make money off an affiliate link

Even though Kenny appears to have hammered the OP, I would like to point out that looking at the "regular" price to determine a business' legitimacy isn't really a useful tool. Particularly a new business like this that probably has never sold its' services to anyone at that price.

Hate these stupid detailing coupons as most of them are just selfish pricks offering services they cannot deliver.

Lol, $159 for a year's worth. I wouldn't even let them touch my lowly Civic. It would probably come out worse than when it went in.
