i saw this car in a magazine for the first time maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, like they couldnt be bothered to redesign any of the body? they just put a different roof on it

the only thing i can think about when i see shit like this is who the hell within Mini approved it? who thought they would make money on it?

You are right, There was a trainer from BMW/ MINI there and over heard him saying that from the window down, the new coupe is based on the same platform as the Convertible even down to all of the structural components which was supposed to make the car more rigid than the hatch.

Mini definatly has a unique approch styling and i guess thats what makes them different from some of the other manufacturers.

It looks as though the music stopped in mid design and they went with what they had. I would be interested in what fell to the floor in the process, I mean if this is the best they could do... WTF. Give me 20 minutes and I am certain my design would be better, that is how bad this thing is. AMC called and they want their designer back.

I imagine the head designer on the project will be moving over to Mazda and get right to work on that Mazda3 beak.

A bit lighter, more torque, more power. That's of course the JCW version of the Coupe. Highest model is going to be damn expensive though.
