Default reverse osmosis system and Water softner recommendation

anyone using? if so, which brand are you using and mind to share your opinion?

i tried to find some review but i have a feeling alot of the report/status is pay to made out.
i'm concerning filter cost as the RO filter need to replace every 12 mths.

i just need the unit without installation as i have plumber who will install.

PS if anyone can hook up me for a deal will be much appreciated.

    Thank you

I've bought about 7-8 systems from them for family and friends, easy to install, they have a package that comes with a 6 stages system, 2-3 years of filters supplies, and some tools for about $400.

According to this page, http://www.aquasafecanada.com/water-...-is-unhealthy/ fluoride's apparently used by Nazis! Better get RO ASAP! On the bright side, at least you'll be apathetic about it.

On a different note, legendboy, why is RO water not good for human consumption? It's not like it's deionized or distilled.

Back on topic though, I've been drinking the Culligan Reverse Osmosis water out of the 18L bottles for years. Only costs $2.99/refill at Co-op too! So unless you go through a whole bottle a week, it'll likely be cheaper than the initial cost of a built-in system and its maintenance/filter replacement costs.

I was also curious, so I googled it... the first link made me , and realize it's just another urban myth, perpetuated by tinhats.

    http://www.snyderhealth.com/water_io...sis_water.html

You'll notice that most of these supporters of distillers and R.O. systems usually have some government or alternate agenda - the government wants you to stay sick to keep the disease-mongering health system afloat...
edit: More googling shows that R/O, is LESS healthy than tap water, in countries with hot weather, and malnutrition as it removes minerals required by the body. However in Canada, the amount of minerals we get from water is minimal compared to food.

So it's not unhealthy, just "less healthy" if you aren't getting a proper amount of certain minerals in your food diet.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
