    Default Trees for privacy

Our house shares a chain link fence with our neighbors, and although our neighbors are good, we want a little more privacy. I am thinking the best way for some extra privacy would be to add some trees. Can anyone recommend a type of tree that will not take up too much room, wont be too invasive into the neighbors yard and look nice? The area will get a lot of sunshine through the day.
If anyone has some pictures of a similar setup that they have dealt with, that would be awesome!

Maybe something columnar like Swedish Aspen? or Hoopsii Spruce if you don't like falling leaves.

we have a couple of big trees in the backyard (i believe 3 of them are the aspen ones ppl are suggesting) that make it so nobody can see in; but the maintenance required is definitely not worth the added privacy. Cutting branches to keep them neat and raking the leaves gets a bit tiresome after a while.

Aspens. You see them used along fences a lot. They are tall and skinny trees that can be planted in a row.

Tower poplar tree are probably your best bet. They grow straight up and act like tall fence almost.

I really like the columnar aspens
take good care of it and it'll grow to be as tall as your house.

Make sure you factor in the regular trimming for your landscaping cost.
