4BT swap.

That would be pretty impressive. Have you looked at the threads about it?Originally posted by Unknown303
4BT swap.
Done by a shop or yourself?
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
Been reading threads on it. Sounds like a tricky job but this next year I'm ditching the condo for a house and I'm making quick use of the garage once I have one. Plus I'll have the Jeep paid off this coming year so all the more reason to do something interesting with it.Originally posted by FraserB

Not sure what I'll do at home or if I'll see if a shop wants to take on the project. Time will tell.

Soon as I move into a place with a garage, I'll be doing a R32 swap to Corrado. INCLUDING THE AWD.
So basically. An AWD Corrado, with the R32 engine, 6 speed tranny, and I'll probably end up putting a turbo on there as well.
Already have all the parts, just need the space to work on it.
I would like to try and keep this car for longer than 5 months.
My long-term goal after I'm finished college is to do a EJ207 swap with STi drivetrain, Perrin GT3076 turbo kit, and Brembo conversion.
My goals in the spring is to get my car tuned, and get Advan RS' lowered on Megan Racing Street coilovers.
This sounds wicked. I LOVE corrados.Originally posted by DeeK

Realistic dream? Hmmm.
For me, sell it and buy better rather than upgrade. In my case a total swap is in order, 335i gets swapped for a 2010 s4 (as of now maybe an x5d) and the rx goes for a 2011 cayenne s (maybe the gl diesel if I'm in my "I need a minivan mood")
Autosignature
Now
Get my bodywork done
get rollbars to retract
get inspected and re-certified
Over winter
tint windows
Get it lowered
New rims and tires
Maybe new stereo (still undecided on this)
Fix convertible top
For the Z06:
Realistic:
- Learn to drive it on the track (scheduled for road course drivers ed)
- Keep daily driving it
- ZR1 CF front lip and side skirts
- Exhaust because it's way too quiet now
- Lower it a bit
- Slicks and a 11.5 second 1/4 mile pass (already did 12.16 at 120 bone stock on street tires)
- Nitto Invo tires
Unrealistic for the next 12 month:
- Headers + cam for 550whp --> 10.xx second pass.
Oh, and keep ahead of each of my boss' cars (easy):

Not much going on for me really.
Mazda:
Coilovers, camber kit, brake rotors and pads, skid plate.
Jag:
Get running and sell for a few bucks.
Beyond's Most Wanted
I only put about 500 km on my car this summer.....
Realistically, I plan to rebuild the engine (when it needs it), upgrade the management and keep it as a cool toy in my garage. None of this will be done until I buy a new toy (hoping for a 996TT).....I just want to keep this one since I have owned it since new.

I say stupid shit all the time.
For the cavy:
Probably put up for sale and use $ to help with house #2 being all setup
For the jeep:
550awhp and 500+awtq and run a 3.0-3.4 0-60 time and mid 11's or quicker
built tranny installed with fuel setup and run 650ish awhp/awtq and clip off 11 flat or high 10's in my 5000lbs box
Big 5000+lbs brick, a couple of 67mm turbos and a heavy foot......... now a best of 9.19 @ 152mph
6" BDS long arm lift, dual steering stabilizers, new pads and rotors and 10 ply Pro-Comp Xtreme AT 325/65/18's went on yesterday. Paint in the spring, maybe some interior work. We'll see.
550-600awhp reliably.
