You're ballsy, running that little free space on your C: drive haha.

Well, you'll have to get Windows to store the profiles on your D: drive, because iTunes stores everything in your user profile.

C:\Users\yourloginname\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer

MobileSync\Backup is where the backups are stored.

It's really not recommended, but here ya go:

My advice is to give yourself more space on C: drive. Staving it of space is sketchy, you can get into a situation where Windows won't even boot up if you're down to a few MB of free space.

I upgraded to IOS5 this morning and iMessages doesn't show up. I really wasn't paying attention during the process, did I skip/ miss a step somewhere?

Here's a weird one: on some of the Apple promo videos I noticed that when you pull down the notifications bar there is a stock ticker and a weather app. After I updated my iPad2 to os5 I went searching for the setting that would enable the weather and stock widget in the notification bar, but I can't find it. I was fooling around with my brother's iPhone 4 and in the "notifications" settings I see he has the option of enabling those 2 widgets. But I don't see those options anywhere in the iPad notifications settings. WTF?

The iPad doesn't come with the stock or weather app, therefore it's not available as a notification.

Why the ipad didn't come with those, I have no clue. Calculator is another one that doesn't come with ipad haha. Bizarre.

Just an update for iOS5 users. The broken link issue is back on the forums as we are working with a vendor of a plugin that is causing the issue.

If you see an unguarded iPhone that is on iOS5, here's a neat little prank.

Settings --> General --> Keyboard --> add new short cut

So you can make "lol" a short cut to display something else.

So I caved this morning and ordered the white 4S online. Prolly gonna be few weeks before I actually get it but whatever I guess. Now I need to get rid of this 3 day old BB Bold 9900. lol

I got the 64G 4S and its pretty sweet. The phone is much faster.

My one problem is that somehow my contacts got doubled in the sync process. I synced them at the apple store then they got synced again when I brought it home to iTunes, and now it has 2 of everything....pretty annoying.

Also, how the heck do you zoom on this os when in portrait mode?

How much data does iCloud use up?

I'm thinking because I want to store all my pic/vids to the iCould, but I use the phone as my ipod as well. I don't want to get charged an arm and a leg to use iCould.

It's a new feature introduced with iOS5, I believe. I have an iPhone 4 and before updating, my iOS 4.3.3 didn't have pinch zoom.
