ricky bob's raceland is about 5 mins out of calgary going towards edmonton
they have better faster carts and a better track that is indoor
as well as other fun things like robot boxing (i've heard you actually get in a robot and box)

i was at ricky bob's a few weeks ago.. don't remember the cost.. i think it was around $7... don't know...

If Ricky Bob' s has more stuff to do, it might be a better place to go, I heard they got 'mini' Nascar there too (drive around in circles!)

If it's Grand Prix, I'm definitely NOT doing the finance this time for group booking

FYI..
Last time I was there to check it out all they had were the kiddie go-karts. None of the baby grand nascars. They did have a simulator. But no fast go-karts.
