Command Start 290i-C

I bought a 2000 Ford Mustang V6 coupe with a command start starter in it already installed with the 2- buttons only remote and a blue led light inbetween (buttons I and II). The sticker on the side of the module says 290i-C. The remote starts well with no problem but when I press button II the lights flashes once and nothing seems to be happening and if I press it again lights flashes twice but nothing seems to be happening or working also on those flashes. Could you please tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? I assumed those are for the door locks. Thanks very much.

Yup they are for door locks.. either you don't have powerdoor locks, or they were not hooked up.

I do have power door locks in the car. Any suggestions on what I should do to fix the problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW, does anybody have a manual for the CS 290i-C? Again, it will be much appreciated if they can email me a copy of it. Thanks. Email ad: [email protected]

Power locks for a mustang, should be Light green, (Lock), and Purple, for unlock, at the BCM, or in the drivers door boot.

Not sure about the Commandstart wiring, but my guess is it will only do negative locks, so you have to either build a relay pack, or get a genderbender. have a look on the unit to see if there is a wiring diagram on it.
