they are both good magazines imo, i also like pas mag because it's Canadian!
MotorTrend all the way. And add SCC to your list too.
Motor Trend is a cheesy rag where as C&D actually has quality articles not wild speculation.
ditto arthur.
MT sucks.
car and driver all the way baby! mt sucks imo
R&T is pure garbage, I hate that magazine. Thier numbers are off lots, and there's a lack of quality info in the magazine.
Personally, I think MT is the best. They do good, thorough reviews and the stats and numbers usually are pretty accurate, and when they sum up the numbers, they give way more info than just price, 0-60, 1/4 mile and mpg. I think taking the opinions of any magazine editors is retarded for any magazine, including MT. And thier choice of "car of the year" is always a farce, but I find the info good. C and D I think has the best articles though, mainly because the editors are more "performance nuts" and more partial to overall quality and finish rather than utility or "new age design"

"Its because they're stupid, that's why. That's why everyone does everything."
My favorite domestic magazines are Auto Week (by far) and Automobile. Car and Driver / Road and Track are so closely affiliated (same parent company, same magazine group) that they are pretty much the same, and Motor Trend seems to be fairly low caliber. Auto Week rules because it is weekly and written for true enthusiasts / industry people.
Didn't MT chose the Caprice as the car of the year in 89 or so?
MT is garbage. Didn't they have the PT Cruiser as car of the year last year or something? Come on, I know that car has it's loyal followers but CAR OF THE YEAR??? Their choice for this year is the Ford Thunderbird.....again, come on, pretty lame choice.
Man, I will never read or buy their garbage.
Don't believe everything you read in PAS Mag, they tend to stretch the truth, especially their articles of featured rides.Originally posted by Blue Devil

Speed Kills
I stopped reading PAS because all the articles were written by the same 2 people.
I have both mainly C&D and Motortrend magazines. I basically buy whatever one looks more interesting to me

Car and driver!
the main reason i hate MT is cuz they have the most painfully incorrect rumors about new cars. not to mention that their drivers suck and cant pull off decent times. then again im drunk
Car and Driver, they have a good TV show too. Not just for the content, but the formatting also, the way the mag is put together. I don't like how some other magazines go 'supersize' to look big.
PAS is another fave.
