From what I've read, they are completely separate. Everyone starts fresh online.

Anarchy's right, nothing transfers from single player to multiplayer, and vice-versa. For you keeners, online launches in about two hours from now.

just to piss Rage2 off, I started a new game last night, and did the missions until I finally got to free roam, and then immediately went and grabbed 4 veyrons for my garage.

all 4 spawned the first time I drove by.

I don't recommend anyone trying to get online atm, there are a fair amount of reports of people having their single player save file corrupted. So if you want to be online, be sure to make a backup of your game. For those that may end up with a corrupted file, I know for the 360 you can download save games and mod them to your profile in order to try and get back to where you left off....kinda.

Is anyone really surprised by this? I thought most people were expecting it to have issues and not really work, especially due to how popular the game has been, plus these type of things always seem to start out as more of a beta test at first.

Anyone who thought GTA Online was going to function properly right away, were kidding them selves. I want it to work but its going to be a while yet I think.

I also have yet to find the Koenigsegg. Honestly though I think that "Coil Voltic" aka Tesla Roadster, is the fastest in the game. Then again, I haven't spent 25K to "turbo" my Veyron yet either.

Haven't found the Koenigsegg either. Pretty sure I've found every other super car. I've also stolen a Buzzard helicopter (easiest thing ever) and a fighter jet for each of my characters haha.
