Might be fake, not sure.
^Could definitely be fake, but the song choice is just too perfect. I can see R* using money/class/greed as an underlying theme for the game considering the mess going on with financial institutions the world over. Same for that first ambiguous but grandiose building.
Doesn't show too much, though, other than R* affirming they're taking GTA along the more serious route and letting Saints' Row pick up the goofy slack. I imagine busy canals would make for some fun chase scenes too.
That's assuming it's real, that video's pretty vague but hey I got nothin else to go on so what the hell.

I have a different opinion than a lot of people and think GTA IV was far superior to San Andreas. Mind you, they were a console generation apart, but I very thoroughly enjoyed GTA IV.
Going from a real driving game to it can be a bit of pain though haha, but I loved just cruising around town. I loved the detail in the cars.
I find it interesting they went right from IV to V though. After III game out, there was VC and then SA and I was sort of expecting the same thing with IV.

WOW I am so getting this...
What would be awesome for this too is a zombie DLC just like what they did for Red Dead Redemption
FUCK YES! San Andreas was by far my most favorite GTA. I'll have to dump my girlfriend before this comes out LOL

Can't wait!! Looks like the release date will be mid to late 2012
i wonder if it's going to be the whole 'state' of San Andreas again, by the looks of it it's focused on Los Santos city stuff and suburbs mostly but who knows, cause there is that one shot of pine forest/mountains and wind turbines in the desert.Originally posted by dino_martini

some screens from the trailer on kotaku, some things you wouldn't notice from just watching the trailer, bad economy just as in our world seems to the big thing:

I hope Vegas is included, but if not I hope they actually make a decent Los Angeles. Just a sprawling urban place, constant traffic on the freeways, etc. Either way I'm excited to see some real gameplay trailers

oh man. favorite video game series of all time.
The license plates said San Andreas, and the mountain rural scenes seem to suggest that it will be more than just a city, especially with airplanes being depicted in the trailer.
I couldn't pin down who the main character seems to be, though. I can't even be sure if the narrator is the voice of the character we will play, but keeping to the rockstar theme it would seem that way.
Some people on reddit seem to think that the foreclosure for sale sign means that we will again be able to purchase properties.
I hope they make the game like San Andreas for the next gen. There could be no better game.
Oh yeah, I hope if they include online they put some effort into it now that they have had a chance to try it with GTA 4. (Although I don't buy the game for multi-player)
I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!
countdown....!
