Guys in a truck selling Bernelli Projectors
A friend of mine was telling me about some guys selling a Bernelli branded projector that approached him yesterday, looks like the new speaker scam?
Apparently, this guy was a real piece of work too.
"MSRP" for the total was 10k+ and he negotiated him down to 300
looks like they are turning up on Kijiji, one guy selling for 7k
" At this price, won't last long "
Did some more digging www.bernelliprojectors.com, only form of contact is a FAX number! Very Legit!!

General rule of thumb: If some dudes in a van are trying to unload anything for a steep 'discount': they be junk.

They keep changing the names too. Used to be VisionMax. Just like they keep changing the name of those stereo systems they're selling.
I would say who the hell still falls for this scam but years ago I bought a whole set of Nuance speakers at International Stereo. That was basically a white van speaker scam setup with a storefront.

They're also known as Vision Max 3D HDMI projectors. The funny thing is, I think they claim 1080p (which you CAN input) but I think they are only 800x600 native LOL.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

^ I strongly suggest you stop being friends with buddy hahaha. How do people fall for this. Guess they forgot the age old saying if it seems too good to be true it probably is.
Logic would dictate, if these were as good as the real thing, they would put The big names out of the projector business.

Yah these guys approached me in the 130th ave canadian tire parking lot. Tried to say they ordered 2 by mistake instead of one and were on their way to meet their boss to deliver it to a customer, lol.
Has the msrp sticker on it for $5499 and all that crap. I just laughed and asked why wouldnt they just return it so their boss wasnt charged for a second projector.
It wasnt a visionmax or bernelli though, cant remember the make off hand.
