Default Timer Switch to Single Pole Switch?

The timer switch for my main bathroom fan has crapped out. Given the fact we would prefer to just have a normal switch on it, I figured I would just stick a single pole switch in it's place and we're good to go.

Well... came across a little different wiring situation... so... need advice as to how to wire in the single pole switch... or... do I need to use a 3-way..? What's the deal here?

Is it just as simple as moving the wires currently attached to this timer switch on to the single pole?

Should be simple as that. It looks like the fan/switch is sharing the same circuit with something else. The timer switch is just a fancier single pole switch if I'm not mistaken. At least that's how it looks to me.

It worked... I just needed someone else to tell me what I wanted to hear.

You should probly install a device box for that switch.... Looks so ghetto and not up to code

^ Already done. That was the first thing I noticed when I took the old switch out. It looks to me that the set up was originally to have the fan come on with the light on one switch inside the bathroom, so someone at some point put the timer in on the outside wall... and did it half ass.

All cleaned up and working properly now.
