I'm also thinking of wrapping my wife's car in chrome red vinyl. Not many people can do chrome vinyl, also cost is high because after vinyl I have to wrap it again with ppf. I was actually thinking when I host an advanced vinyl wrapping car, to use my wife's car as demo so they can teach do chrome vinyl lol
If anyone knows any good vinyl guys that can do chrome, let me know too. We got IR heat lamps at the shop to help with stretching.
Note, STEK ppf are hydrophobic but they will degrade as well if daily driven.

Jarod is at Spys..he's good too. we use him for tint mainly at the shop
Found some photos of when I did mine in the parkade of my condo 7 years ago.
Lots of work to do a proper job!!!
Really don't see a value in this for the amount it costs. Crazy.
Well I certainly wouldn’t swap out a wrap every 4 months, not like it’s a car or somethingThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Agreed, it's a poor value a vehicles owned for 14 weeks.

Haha. If you changed cars often enough, you wouldn't have to worry about the wrap.
I don't usually have my for sale post ready for Kijiji even before I take delivery.

I wrapped my m3 when it had 30,000km and the paint was absolutely flawless. Took wrap off around 65,000km and the paint was still flawless and I enjoyed another colour on the car for about 5 years. Easily $3-4K value imo.
Yes and no. The Vinyl was done a few blocks away in Okotoks, don't think that place exists anymore. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Jarod did a lot of wraps for me over the years, Xpel clear and matte wraps both at Tinting Illusions and when he was at Shadow. So if he's at Spy Design now, yes they've done work for me via Jarod.
Haven't talked to Jarod in years now, he's been out in Okotoks for a couple years now, and that's just way too far from me.
