I love Vdara but they don't have any rooms (that I've seen) with double beds, so you'll be doing two dudes to a bed, two on the pullout, and one on the floor.

It's quiet and fits my style a little better. I spent two weeks there last year and it's great when you have a car because it's so easy to get in and out.

Walking to the strip is a bit of a pain because it's like a 8-10 minute walk through the Bellagio's lobby and then their convention area.

I only stay at Vdara now if I have a car, or if I only plan on hanging out at Aria for my stay and nowhere else.

I just got back from my bachelor party last night:

My friend planned it all and he used http://www.vipnvegas.com to get us into Marquee and XS without bottle service.
Overall it worked out really well. I think it was about $100/guy for cover and to skip the line.
We did Marquee on Friday night and he tacked our party on with a group of girls to help our ratio out. It makes it way easier to get in as it seems like Marquee is quite strict about who's coming in and how many guys per group.
XS was insanely packed for Calvin Harris, we showed up at about 11:30 and the promoter walked us right past the mile long line up and right into the club no problem.
The only complaint with Justin from VipnVegas was that he was seriously disorganized until the day of. We still didn't know if we were getting into Marquee or where we were going until around 7pm that night, but it all seemed to work out.

For pool parties we pre-purchased tickets for Marquee dayclub online and it was a snap to get in. Pick up your tickets at the box office and walk right in.

100ish bucks and unlimited drinks from 10pm-1am.. no line no cover... drinks are Ketel One Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Champagne, Red Bull, and Mixers.

That sounds too good to be true. $100 bucks in Vegas buys you roughly 5 drinks at the bigger clubs. I know Palms is off of the strip but still... Whats the guy-girl ratio for this package?

Having girls is key in Vegas. We got to skip the line at Haze simply cause we had 3 decent lookin' girls with our group (5 guys).

From what I gathered when I was researching vegas clubs, these pre-bought tickets are the best way to go and as long as they are from a legit source (wantickets definitely is) and you don't show up too late, too drunk or under-dressed, they're golden.

I guess it makes sense too. 10pm is pretty early for Vegas.

Then again the guy at Marquee told us to show up at 9 or you're screwed, we go there at 10:30 and there was no shot of getting in. Even the table line was absolutely insane (think Will Call ticket line for a big DJ at 11 pm here).

So I guess the size and status of the club also plays a part.

oh and the bank at Bellagio requires dress pants as an unrelated fyi

There is 3 of us going to Vegas for 5 days and 4 night. One of my friend will be using her airmiles to book her flight and 2 of us will be getting the hotel and flight deal from Expedia. Do we need to mention when we check in that there is another person staying with us and pay the fee's or can she just stay with us in the room without notifying the hotel? I've done this to most hotels but never in Vegas.

They have cameras checking everyone who enters each room and verifies it with the # of people checked in on their database and let you know in the morning if their will be any extra charges.

Which hotel are you staying at?

I've tried to sneak in many people into my hotel rooms but a lot of the hotels are getting smarter and putting hidden cameras on each floor. They are making sure you pay for each person that stays in your room. We even had one time, at the Bellagio, where a supervisor came and escorted us to the front in order to pay for the extra 2 people staying at our room..
