Default WTB: Reliable car/SUV/CUV/etc. for under $2,000

My roommates car recently died and unfortunately he isn't in a position where he can afford to buy a new car. He isn't mechanically inclined, so his needs for a vehicle are that it be reliable and economical.

Preference given to auto's and AWD, but all reliable vehicles will be considered. The cheaper, the better.

    Maximum budget of $2,000.

Car must have working wipers, signals, indicators, heater and no major mechanical trouble that will require repair over the next 6-8 months.

    Looking to buy ASAP.

Ensure clutch is good though as the book time is huge for that job.

Thanks Marvin. However, it has too many issues for my roommate.

This is my daily. The nitrous is just on there for a laugh once in a while when I feel like getting gouged 100 bucks for a bottle fill.

I'd remove the nitrous kit and sell it for 1600.

I've owned it nearly a year, put 14k on it, only done front brakes and oil changes.

Hot heat, cold AC, working stereo, drives, turns, stops, etc. Good winter tires too.

YES I DO drive the living shit out of it, but it's taken it all and asked for more. It's a tough little car.

I just don't feel right not owning a Honda anymore so I'd like to sell it and pick up an Integra for a daily.

^ Will you trade for my Golf? An Integra is what I want.
