    Default Purolator

Does anyone know how long Purolator will hold onto a package for after they attempt delivery? I won't be home tomorrow and I think tomorrow is when they will try to deliver. Flying out tomorrow night and I don't want them to send my shipment back.

Edit: It's Canada Post and not Purolator

Canada Post will attempt delivery, and if you're not home, will card the item to the nearest post office. You have 2 weeks to pick up the item from the post office before it gets returned to sender.

If you have the tracking number you can call the post office it's being held at and get them to hold it longer.

If its Canada post, you will get a missed delivery slip, and it will say where the package will be for pickup "after XX time". Usually its there before that though.

Do you have time before your flight to pick it up from the post office?

Edit: lol, didn't see thread date, guess he's already on the plane by now.

If you get mail to your house they do. If you have a superbox... Maybe not?

Its all upto the mailman. for me, if it doesnt fit in the superbox, she'll drop it off at my house. If we're not home, she tries my parents house who live a few doors down.
