    Default Custom Lexus ISF headlights

over the last week I pulled the trigger and decided to do custom headlights in my ISF. I have done this type of work before in my Audis and on my Denali, however the ISF headlights are worth about $1500 a piece from the dealer so I was sweating beads as I tore them apart.

Good news, they came came out mint. No sign of condensation after washing or driving through snow storms, and no sign that they were opened besides the new paint. the paint is flawless, and it goes to show what the proper tools and taking your time can do. It was a fun, although stressful, project.

Anyways here are some pics of the ride.

Looks good. Whats up with the purple? Is that a reflection of the bulb is or is painted?

I was going to say "now let's see the new wheels," before I scrolled to the last pic.

Summer 2012 should be a good one for you

The highbeam reflector was actually painted with metalcast purple paint, it has a very original look to it. the car actually looks like it has eyes as you walk up to it. The light output was minimally reduced.

My brembo's are purple as well

    other mods on the car:

Full Borla catback with custom Xpipe
    Injen Intake
    Headers

    Mods waiting to be installed:

    Swift racing springs
    Work VsXX shoes
    Hella DRL LED's

    Thanks man,
that is the exact look i was going for. I took a gamble and it paid off, although I did paint a spoon first to see how it would look lol.

I can't wait until summer to install the springs and rims, I love this car.

You can also take apart your projectors and paint the cutoff shield (lens side), so the projector will always have a color to them.

    thanks for the compliments guys!

I was sure there would be mixed reviews, as i had to get used to the purple myself. Now I love it.

    yes the reflector is painted.

I can't wait to mount the rims, I am going to leave them gold for now.. I fell in love with a silver 996tt on gold works
