    Default having a hard time with my sw20

    Hey guys,
    So last week i washed my car in the evening, early morning
    i tried opening my door but it twisted and broke my key....
    I have a spare which will open my door but it wont work in the ignition!
    What can i do ! The question really is ... where the hell can i find a new set of locks or even just an ignition switch and key ? Emailed some placesin japan but one reffered me to yahoo aution jpn and the others havent replied. does anyone know where i can find one that will match a 90 sw20 mr2.

    Those 2 threads are classic

    I had my jdm 300zx key cut at the dealership, If you can get the broken key out and take it to key cutting place they should be able to replicate the key

    Toyota couldnt do anything but an exporter in japans found me a new set.

    Why not call a locksmith? They can make a key for your ignition

    Quite a bit more expensive to go that route
