People were fighting over god damn beenie babies in the early 90's. Shit aint right but thats how it is in this materialistic western society. They have people more concerned with pop culture and obtaining the next big thing, while the real criminals rape the economy and financially enslave us...

Cabbage patch kids in the 80's, Beanie babies in the 90's, xboxes and PS3's in the '00s .... history always repeats itself as people never learn.

This is the byproduct of the late 70's shift to consumerism, courtesy of the big corporations taking over the government ideology in the US.

well impo just like the Black friday thread, you don't see Canadians macing and shooting e/o on boxing day for the most part, yes western society is materialistic, but there is really only one country where you can get killed over the release of new shoes, or discount prices on electronics/clothes etc on one very specific day in late November... so embedded into the shoppers minds that it is an annual 'tradition' to have someone die on that day.

Wow... I thought women were the only ones who got THAT excited for shoes. What a pathetic group of human beings.

There is not an item on this planet that would make me do that... even if it was free!

It's a joke, waiting in line for shoes is one thing, turning into an animal to get them is another. Hypebeasts are savages.

Holy fuck you're right, I can hardly comprehend the GREAT importance of these shoes to justify what is happening!
