Default What is it with people leaving their babies alone in the car?

I was out doing errands yesterday and not once, but twice, I parked beside a car that was empty except for the 2-3 year old kid strapped into a baby seat in the back seat.

1st was a caravan at the Shawnessy Staples, the next was a Rav4 at the Shawnessy Superstore.

some people need to be sterilized before they have kids.

Retarded. I don't feel safe leaving anything in my car let alone my child. People are useless.

I don't see the problem, lock the doors and make sure the windows are all the way up and you don't have to worry about anyone kidnapping your child. What's the big deal? I leave my kids alone unattended all the time - in the car, in the house, at the playground. Kids these days need to toughen up!

It's just laziness. I never leave my kid alone in a car.

Pretty sure you're supposed to call the police when that happens. Especially in the summer.

I've been to Africa, you have three year old there walking the streets barefoot in front of drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes, gang members, you name it. As rough as it comes. They're always fine. White people in suburban Calgary who complain about other white people in suburban Calgary leaving their children unattended in locked cars need to smarten the f-ck up.

I'm sure there are not "always fine"

Why don't we just leave them alone at home instead with the doors locked? That way we could save even more time and not have to lug our heavy child into the car in the first place.

My sister and I used to wait in the car all of the time when my parents were going into the bank or when paying for gas.

    Pussification in full effect.
