My place in Ladysmith is up $3,000 or 1.1% increase over 2011.

I'll be lucky to get anywhere close to the assessed price. I am re-listing again this weekend with a new realtor at a new price... see if I can finally GTFO of here and back to Calgary.

I suppose the only plus side is that housing prices have slipped back a bit in Calgary, so the bit of a hit I take here should reflect there.

    Evergreen/Single Detached/384,500 ...

Is there a way to find the property tax value for last year short of finding the actual paper? If I remember correctly it was like $399,000 or something close to that last year.

What is the current tax rate that I can use to multiply my new assesment by to find my propery tax?

Also, when is the tax usually due? I always pay it out right, so want to make sure i have the funds for this year as well

TIPP is a annual thing (jan-dec) so if you sign up late you have to pay all the missed months up front from what i understood reading it

Definately going to appeal my value. Up 10%...bought the house less than a year ago $150K less than so called assessment value and comparable house sell for a tad more then what I bought mine for.

Seems a bit steep, but I'll take the lower taxes.
